The Story Behind ForMe

ForMe began with a simple frustration. When I started taking my fitness journey seriously, I went in search of activewear that truly worked for me. I wanted pieces that fit properly, felt comfortable, and supported my movement but what I found instead were clothes that felt restrictive, unflattering, or designed for someone else’s body.

Half-joking, I made a passing comment: “I could probably make this myself.” That thought stayed with me.

With a background in dance, movement has always shaped the way I see clothing. Dance taught me that what you wear should move with you, not just during training, but in how it makes you feel. I’d spent years creating dance costumes that needed to balance function and aesthetics, pieces that looked beautiful while allowing complete freedom of movement.

As my fitness journey evolved, so did the idea for ForMe.

We didn’t just want to create activewear for workouts we wanted to design pieces you’d feel good wearing every day. Clothes you could train in, stretch in, walk in, or throw on for a coffee without needing to change. Activewear that didn’t look like exclusively like “gym clothes” but felt just as comfortable. That’s where ForMe was formed.
